Aimee Brown is an American romance/romantic comedy author-published by London publishers Boldwood Books & Aria/Head of Zeus/Bloomsbury. 

Aimee Brown's upbringing in a small logging town in Oregon led to her escaping the country and moving to the city of Portland in her twenties. There, she spent years falling in love with the city, which has deeply influenced her writing. All her books are set in the wonderfully weird city. Her life journey has taken her across the country, from Oregon to Nevada to Oklahoma and now to the cold mountains of Montana. But her love for Portland has remained the same.

In her previous years, she's worked for companies such as Netflix, interior design companies, helps her husband run an arborist business, and learned to keep her cool over people's stupidity while working in many ERs/hospitals. 

She's been joyfully married for literally decades (since 1997), is the mother of 3 adult children, and has the most adorable granddaughter on the planet. (Yes, I'm much older than I look—teen parenting! It's great. Also, yes, that is a tattoo across my chest—I'm obsessed and have many, covering both arms and chest.)

When Aimee isn't crafting her next literary masterpiece, she enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones. Her interests extend beyond writing, as she maintains a collection of over 200 rare houseplants and curates book playlists. In her downtime, she indulges in scrolling through social media, binge-watching reality shows like Bachelor in Paradise, and exploring the world of true crime and ghost-hunting videos on YouTube.

Aimee's writing style is a distinctive fusion of humor, banter, and fade-to-black romance, peppered with swear words for a touch of realism (though they're fiction). Her characters, imperfect and witty, often stumble through life, just like real people. Her romcoms, while light-hearted, also delve into the depths of life's traumas, offering a relatable reflection of our shared experiences.
